GRATING

FOR LAYER COMBUSTION

THE PRINCIPLE OF LAYER COMBUSTION OF BIOMASS

The layer method of burning fuel is characterized by the fact that fuel is loaded in a layer of a certain thickness onto stationary or moving grates, on which fuel coke burns, and volatile substances released from the fuel burn above the fuel layer in the fuel chamber.

MOVABLE GRILLE WITH MECHANISMED FUEL SUPPLY

In furnaces with a sliding bar, the fuel is moved along a stationary horizontal grill grate by a special bar of a special shape, which makes a reciprocating movement along the grill grates. It is used for burning biomass under boilers with a steam capacity of up to 6.5 t/h; in furnaces with inclined grates, fresh fuel loaded into the furnace from above slides down to the lower part of the furnace under the influence of gravity as it burns.
